Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-11-01
This policy explains what happens to information when you use youtubetomp3.cfd (“YouTubeToMP3”, “we”).
No account, no profile
You can use every feature without registering. We don’t ask for your name, email or phone number, and we don’t build a profile of you.
What we process to convert a video
- The link you paste. It is sent to our server only to read the video and prepare your file.
- Your IP address and browser type. Like almost every website, our web server writes these to technical logs. We use them to keep the service running, to stop abuse such as automated mass downloading, and to fix errors. Logs are deleted on a rolling basis.
- The converted file. It is created for your request and served through a temporary link that expires after about ten minutes. We don’t keep a copy of your downloads.
Cookies and local storage
The converter itself doesn’t use tracking cookies. Our CDN, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from attacks. If we add privacy-friendly analytics or advertising in the future, this page will be updated first and, where the law requires it, you’ll be asked for consent.
The video preview
When you press “Play preview”, the player loads from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). Nothing loads from YouTube until you press the button. YouTube’s own privacy policy applies to that player.
Third parties
We use Cloudflare to deliver the site securely and quickly. We don’t sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Children
YouTubeToMP3 is not directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their data.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what we hold about you or ask us to delete it by writing to [email protected]. In practice we only hold short-lived server logs.
